Keep Culpeper Rural

About Me

My husband and I moved to Culpeper over 10 years ago to start our farm. We built a business raising commercial turkeys and beef cattle; we started a family (our daughter is 4 years old); and we planted roots. People, including my family, come here because Culpeper is still a rural, small-town community. I want the privilege of continuing to serve on this board and bringing in business and residents to the appropriate areas while maintaining our rural character. We are currently at a crossroads. The right board will maintain Culpeper’s character, and the wrong one could fundamentally change this county forever. As a Christian, wife, mother, farmer, and business owner, I’m running for Supervisor to maintain Culpeper’s character and protect its future. I have come to realize that some people seek this position for personal gain; I have nothing to gain by being on the Board, just myself to give.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. Phil 2:3-4
